Precautions — CET/RET Working Head

• The micro-heating function activates only when the working handle and electrode plate are correctly connected to the host.
• Do not use the instrument on a live floor.
• After starting, others should not touch the electrode plate.
• During operation, others should not touch the operator or customer.
• Neither operator nor customer should wear metal accessories during operation.
• The electrode probe must maintain full contact with the skin — tilting may cause irritation or burns.
• Move the electrode probe smoothly in a spiral motion; do not stop at any one area.
• Use reduced power output around the eyes due to thinner skin.
• Higher energy may be used for body care, but keep it within a comfortable range.
• Do not use if the insulating layer of the electrode probe is cracked or damaged.

Post-Care Precautions

• Mild redness may appear after treatment and typically subsides within 1 hour.
• Avoid high-temperature environments, steam rooms, saunas, and hot springs for 3 days post-treatment.
• Do not use scrubs, exfoliating products, or retinoid ointments within 1 week after treatment.
• Avoid oily makeup and irritating skincare products; focus on moisturizing and sun protection.
• Allow a 2-week interval before other treatments.

Contraindications

Do not use if you have any of the following conditions:

• Heart disease, cardiac pacemaker, or high blood pressure
• Acute inflammation, deep vein thrombosis, goiter, asthma, cancer, or similar conditions

What is CET / RET?

CET (Capacitive Electric Transfer) transfers RF electrical current to the body via a moveable external electrode covered with an insulating film, which acts as a dielectric. The body acts as the second plate of a capacitor, and a return plate closes the circuit. The electrical current passing through live tissue generates heat.

RET (Resistive Electric Transfer), introduced in 1994, uses an uninsulated application electrode that transfers current directly to the patient with less dispersion, achieving deeper tissue heating.
